It's been nearly a year since the release of Kingdom Hearts III, and as the year comes to an end, it's time for awards season. On Monday, the 47th annual Annie Awards nominees were announced, and Kingdom Hearts III was among the nominees for Best Character Animation in a Video Game![1]
Square Enix's Munenori Shinagawa, Kayoko Yajima, Koji Hamada, and Koji Inoue were nominated for the award, joining animators for The Coalition and Microsoft's Gears 5, Chromospher and Within's Sinclair Snake: Museum Mischief, and Magic Design Studios's Unruly Heroes This follows the game's nomination for Best RPG and Best Music/Score at the 2019 Game Awards.
