SUMMARY

  • Exclusive first trailer for upcoming DLC was shown at the Orchestra performance in Los Angeles tonight
  • The trailer features a playable Roxas and Aqua, as well as more information about Luxord, the Master of Masters, and Xigbar

It's been just over five months since the highly-anticipated release of Kingdom Hearts III. Since then, we've gotten hints that there would be new additional content coming to the game, first officially confirmed at the premiere of this year's Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World of Tres- in Tokyo, Japan. Tonight, the Orchestra moved on to Los Angeles in time for this year's E3, and we received more information on the upcoming DLC content.

An exclusive trailer was revealed tonight at the end of the performance, and it featured new scenes for the upcoming additional episode, officially called "Kingdom Hearts III Re:Mind". According to those actually at the event, the new chapter will feature a playable Roxas, Riku, and Aqua. It will also feature Young Xehanort and a robed figure believed to be the Master of Masters in Keyblade Graveyard, as well as Luxord and Xigbar talking in Olympus, though the exact nature of their discussion is still unclear. A new form was also shown for Sora, believed to be for Oathkeeper, but not yet confirmed.

The trailer is still not publicly available, but we're hoping the trailer will be shown off at Square Enix's E3 Showcase on Monday! The DLC episode will be available this winter for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. What are you most excited for?
