Wreck-It Ralph, commonly referred to as Ralph, is the bad guy of his game, Fix-It Felix, Jr. first introduced in Kingdom Hearts III. He originates from the 2012 Disney animated film Wreck-It Ralph.

Story[edit | edit source]

Kingdom Hearts Union χ[edit | edit source]

When the Keyblade wielder arrives in Niceland, they see Wreck-It Ralph high above the Niceland apartment building, pounding and wrecking the place, with Heartless all around. Believing to be a threat, the Keyblade wielder takes on and defeats Ralph, throwing him off the building. Ralph then walked away from the building alone towards his home at the dump, where he gathers several bricks around him and expresses a desire to be a hero like Fix-It Felix, Jr. Frustrated later at the party celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of their game, Ralph decides to get himself a medal. However, his disappearance causes his game to be put out of order. He soon arrives in Cy-bug Sector, charging with other characters to fight against enemies very different from the Heartless.

Kingdom Hearts III[edit | edit source]

Ralph joins Sora as a link in fighting enemies across various worlds after Sora acquires the Pixel Heartbinder for defeating the Gigas robots in Verum Rex: Beat of Lead in Toy Box.

Origin[edit | edit source]

Ralph prepares to wreck a volcano in order to defeat the Cy-Bugs and save Vanellope in Wreck-It Ralph.

Wreck-It Ralph is the destructive bad guy in the 1980s arcade game Fix-It Felix, Jr. in Walt Disney Animation Studio's 2012 computer-animated film Wreck-It Ralph. Tired of being treated as the bad guy on and off work, he leaves his game in search of a medal to prove he can be a hero. He finds one in Hero's Duty, but loses it when he's attacked by one of the game's unrelenting virus Cy-bugs, and ends up in a candy-themed race game titled Sugar Rush. There, he meets a glitching young racer named Vanellope Von Schweetz, who is constantly bullied for her glitching. His medal now a part of the race, Ralph helps Vanellope build a kart to race with and helps her practice. He destroys the kart when he is led to believe that her glitching will destroy the game, and her with it, but returns to help Vanellope join the race with the help of his rival, Fix-It Felix, Jr.

As she's about to win, the race is attacked by Cy-bugs, duplicating from the one that had attacked Ralph earlier, and they begin to destroy Sugar Rush. With no way of helping Vanellope escape the game, Ralph nearly sacrifices himself to create a beacon from a volcano in Sugar Rush in order to destroy the viruses, taking out the wicked King Candy in the process and allowing Vanellope to win the race. In the process, her glitching cured, and Ralph decides he doesn't need a medal so long as a kid like Vanellope is willing to be his friend.
