Internet browserKingdom Hearts χ is the eight title in the Kingdom Hearts series, and the first freely-available via a PC browser. The title follows the story of Keyblade wielders in the age of fairy tales leading up to the events of the Keyblade War.
Kingdom Hearts χ was announced at Tokyo Game Show 2012 on September 20, 2012.[1] An closed beta for the title was held March 22-25, 2013, and an open beta was held July 8-18, 2013. Kingdom Hearts χ launched in Japan on July 18, 2013 and ran for three years, with service being terminated on September 1, 2016.
