It is now January 23, 2020 in Japan, and the highly-anticipated Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind is now available for PlayStation 4! The new package of content, the first downloadable add-on for the series, is releasing today for PlayStation 4 and will release on February 25, 2020 for Xbox One customers. Tetsuya Nomura, Tai Yasue answer questions in lead to Re Mind release

Kingdom Hearts III co-directors Tetsuya Nomura and Tai Yasue answered questions about Kingdom Hearts III, the upcoming Re Mind DLC, and the future of the Kingdom Hearts series in a series of questions and answers in the lead up to Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind. Yasue's questions and answers, titled "Questions of Light", were released on the official Japanese Twitter account on January 21, while Nomura's questions and answers, titled "Questions of Darkness", were released on the same account on January 22.

Kingdom Hearts III 1.09 update releases

The free update for Kingdom Hearts III has released. Instead of just the 1.07 update, however, we got versions 1.08 and 1.09 as well! The 1.07 update has all the previously announced content, including Oblivion and Oathkeeper, while versions 1.08 and 1.09 fixes various issues with the game.

Project Xehanort announced

At 6:00 PM MST/8:00 PM EST/10:00 AM JST, Square Enix announced a brand new experience featuring the origins of Master Xehanort. The new title, currently referred to as Project Xehanort, is an upcoming mobile game for iOS and Android devices (including Amazon devices) that will delve into why Xehanort became a seeker of darkness. There's also now a campaign on Twitter to guess the actual name of the upcoming mobile title, with up to ten winners getting a $100 gift card for Amazon.

Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind releases

At last, the first major release of the year for Kingdom Hearts is here. Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind releases today for PlayStation 4 around the world. The title was available at midnight EST in the United States, and features the Re Mind, Limit Cut, and Secret scenarios, as well as the Data Greeting and Slide Show features. You can purchase the package from the PlayStation Store right now if you haven't already.

For Xbox players, Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind won't be releasing until February 25, 2020.
