Kingdom Hearts III is the thirteenth title in the Kingdom Hearts series, released on January 25, 2019 in Japan, and on January 29, 2019 internationally. It has been updated six times with patches through the PlayStation and Microsoft stores since its release.

The next update, v 1.07, will release on January 23, 2020, for PlayStation 4 and on February 25, 2020, for Xbox One.

  • A new game mode (Critical Mode) with new abilities has been added.
  • Some enemy mechanics have been adjusted
  • Treasures obtained in the Frozen Slider minigame now appear in the Summary screen and can also be viewed in the Gummiphone.
  • A check mark now appears next to items in the Workshop menu that have already been synthesized.
  • New Game Help text and other various messages have been added.
  • Various issues have been fixed.
  • New save data will be created upon installing this version.

  • Keyblades and other elements from clear data can now be carried over when selecting New Game to replay the game.
  • A maximum of 200 photos can now be saved.
  • Various issues have been fixed.

  • Title Menu has been updated
    • "Theater", "Memory Archive", and "Tutorials" have been moved within a new menu item titled "Special".

  • You can turn in the Key Item "Proof of Promises" at the Moogle Shop to obtain the Keyblade "Oathkeeper".
  • You can turn in the Key Item "Proof of Times Past" at the Moogle Shop to obtain the Keyblade "Oblivion".
  • New forms [for Oathkeeper and Oblivion] have been added.
  • New abilities were added for Sora.
  • Various menus have been updated.
  • Some cutscenes have been fixed.
  • Various issues have been fixed.
  • New sharing features have been added.
  • Blocked cutscenes have been unlocked for sharing.
