Kingdom Hearts III Premiere Invitation

The Kingdom Hearts III Premiere event was a private event held by Square Enix in celebration of the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts III. The event was held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at an event hall in Santa Monica, California. Among the select group of people invited to attend were several members of the Kingdom Hearts fan community.

The highlight of the event was the opportunity to be among the first in the whole world to play Kingdom Hearts III.

Before the event, Square Enix made contact with several groups of people, and starting in early April, many of them were allowed to reveal publicly their having been chosen by Square Enix to play Kingdom Hearts III early. However, as is typical of such events, Square Enix enforced strict restrictions of what could be said of the opportunity, which wasn't even known publicly as a separate event. On May 15, 2018, several of those invited revealed via Twitter that they would play Kingdom Hearts III at a private event being referred to only as the Kingdom Hearts III Premiere, and that the restrictions preventing discussion of the event would be lifted on Friday, May 18 at 6 AM PDT. Images surfaced on social media of the venue the following day.

On May 17, 2018, around 11:00 AM PDT, images began to leak from one of the attendees from the event. The attendee was subsequently removed from the event.
