KeybladeSpyMaster - I fight for the Users! TALK - - Greetings, users. System is up, and ready for user input. - 09:00 AM Fri, November 15, 2019 MST |
So, in accordance with the decision to have further discussion, we're opening up this forum to discuss what we shall do for this year's End of Year Event! Currently, the plan is to have a community focus for this year's event, with less emphasis on the editing aspect of the Database. During this month's Council meeting, we had two ideas:
We want any other ideas that we can think of. Preferably, we'd like to have a decision soon so that, depending on what we decide, we have time to put it together. So go, discuss! |

Even though we had initially started with a more community-focused event, I had an idea I wanted to share. What if we partnered with KH13.com to do an editing competition. Basically, we'd host the same competition for who can make the most edits on each "wiki". So, a prize for whoever makes the most edits on KH13's Datascape, and a prize for whoever makes the most edits on the Kingdom Hearts Database. We wouldn't be competing site vs. site, but rather, having the same competition on both. Also, the prize wouldn't be super expensive. Right now, I'm thinking of Funko Pop!s as the prizes. As for the more community-focused ones, I'm still down for a speed run, but it'll need to be a weekend since I work weekdays. Alternatively, we could do a community-invitation to a month-long speedrun challenge for the whole series. After all, this isn't just the end of the year; we're wrapping up a decade. |
