Kristoff is a rugged mountain man and ice harvester for the Kingdom of Arendelle in the highly-popular 2013 Disney animated film Frozen. When the kingdom is cursed to an enternal winter by Elsa, Kristoff finds and accompanies Anna to find her and have her bring back summer. Once they do find Elsa, however, the two find that she can't break the curse, and Kristoff hurridley tries to take Anna to his family of rock trolls when they find Elsa has struck Anna's heart with ice. As she's slowly freezing up, they learn that true love will break her curse, and beleiving Prince Hans, who Anna had met previously, to be Anna's true love, Kristoff quickly takes her back to the kingdom. As he makes his way up the mountain, he is disappointed with leaving Anna, with whom he had fallen in love with, with someone else. However, when the winter seemed to start getting worse, a signal that the curse hadn't been broken, Kristoff races back to Arendelle to find Anna. He finds her amdist a blizzard as she continues to get worse, but is unable to reach her before she turns completely to ice. However, Anna's act of true love for her sister, who was about to be killed by Hans, broke the spell, allowing her to be thawed. Afterwards, Elsa names Kristoff Arendelle's Royal Ice Master and Deliverer.
