Kingdom Hearts III nominated for Best RPG, Best Music in 2019 Game Awards

The nominees for The Game Awards 2019 were announced on Tuesday, and the Kingdom Hearts series has made the list not just once, but twice! Kingdom Hearts III has been nominated for this year's award for Best Role-Playing Game, joining the likes of Square Enix's other popular RPG title, Final Fantasy XIV, Capcom's Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, and Obsidian and Private Division's The Outer Worlds. The hit title from Square Enix and Disney has also been nominated for this year's award for Best Score/Music, going up against titles like Capcom's Devil May Cry 5 and Kojima Productions and Sony Interactive Entertainment's Death Stranding.

Popular search engine Google also announced it had struck a partnership with The Game Awards, allowing people to vote for the nominees by searching for "TGA Vote" on Google.
This year's The Game Awards show, hosted by creator Geoff Keighley, will be on Thursday, December 12, at 5:30 PM PST at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, United States. The show will also be live via stream on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live, and Mixer, among many other distribution partners around the world.
