News:Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMIX Soundtrack Albums arrive on streaming services

Rejoice, music lovers! It appears that more Kingdom Hearts soundtracks will be joining the online streaming services tonight. According to Reddit user Minntul on the Kingdom Hearts subreddit, two soundtrack albums will be available for streaming: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX Original Soundtrack and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Original Soundtrack.^[1]

The albums will be available starting tonight at midnight on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, and more. You can find the links to the albums here:

From the album listings, the tracks sung by Utada Hikaru ("Simple and Clean","Simple and Clean -PLANITb Remix- (Short Edit)", "Sanctuary", and "Sanctuary -after the battle-") are not going to be available. Additionally, it appears both albums are being made available at midnight by region, so it is currently already available in most of the world as of this writing. Finally, some of the tracks have had minor title edits, with all the versions of "Dearly Beloved" having been renamed to denote which game they are from, with the exception of the original track from Kingdom Hearts.

The release marks the first time these albums are made available on streaming services. Previously, only Kingdom Hearts - III, II.8, Unchained χ & Union χ (Cross) - Original Soundtrack was the only Kingdom Hearts album available to stream. It also marks the arrival of most of the series' music on streaming services, with only the original PlayStation 2 versions and the soundtrack to Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance missing.

The albums are visible in both services, but not yet searchable or playable. We have also not yet found indication of the albums showing up in YouTube Music just yet, but we'll update this story if we do as the night progresses. Let us know if you'll be listening to the soundtrack!
