- Nomura announces details for DLC for Kingdom Hearts III
- Paid DLC will include three new scenarios
The Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World of Tres- performances premiered today in Tokyo, Japan. As part of the event, the third in the Orchestra series, series director Tetsuya Nomura announced details on the upcoming downloadable content for the game.
According to Nomura, there will be paid DLC that will include three new scenarios, with the first tentatively titled Kingdom Hearts ReMIND. The second scenario is simply titled Limit Cut Episode, and per Stormcaster, it will have multiple bosses. The last scenario is presently titled Secret Episode, and will have at least one boss. There will also be an option for English voice acting in the DLC for the Japanese version of the game, as well as other details not yet announced.
At this time, we do not know which, if any, of this content will be available in the international releases of Kingdom Hearts III. Presumably, all will be, though the multi-language options have historically been a Japanese-exclusive feature of the Final Mix releases of the games. We also do not have a release date at this time, though we expect to have one soon.
UPDATE 1 - 19:13, 27 April 2019 (MDT): There are multiple rumors that claim Shinji Hashimoto has resigned as executive producer for the Kingdom Hearts series at the Orchestra. We have not been able to confirm these claims at this time.
