- Square Enix announced new Bring Arts figures, a special edition PlayStation 4, and an all-in-one package
Throughout the day, while trailers for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III have been dropping left and right, Square Enix has been updating pre-order options and bonuses. So far, there are five different bonuses available for the highly-anticipated title.
Square Enix Store (NA/EU)
There are currently two bundles for pre-ordering Kingdom Hearts III through the Square Enix Online Store in North America and Europe. The first is the Deluxe Edition, which features the game along with a mini artbook featuring concept art for Kingdom Hearts III, a SteelBook© cover, and a limited-edition pin. It costs $79.99 USD. The second is the Deluxe Edition + Bring Arts bundle, which features the same items for the Deluxe Edition, but also features Bring Arts figures for Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their Toy Story forms. It costs $229.99 USD. A physical copy of the game alone is also for sale for $59.99 USD from the Square Enix Store. All three are available from Amazon for the same prices, with the exception of the Bring Arts Figures, which are a Square Enix Store exclusive.
PlayStation and Microsoft Stores
Kingdom Hearts III is also available digitally through both the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store. Available for pre-order shortly after the Square Enix E3 2018 Showcase, ordering from the PlayStation Store includes a special PlayStation-themed Keyblade variant of Star Seeker and the "Impossible Odds" PlayStation 4 theme at $59.99 USD. Another digital bundle available through the PlayStation Store, the All-In-One Package, features instant access to Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue in addition to the midnight digital release of Kingdom Hearts III, and costs $99.99 USD.
The Microsoft Store features the digital pre-order of Kingdom Hearts III for Xbox One, which features an Xbox-themed Keyblade variant of Star Seeker, for $59.99.
GameStop is offering a fabric poster for pre-ordering the game through the video game store. The title is available for pre-order either digitally or physically, and for either Xbox One or PlayStation 4, for $59.99 USD. In early July, GameStop began it's Twitter campaign to determine which of three different designs should be the fabric poster distributed with their pre-order. The designs are based on Toy Box, Monstropolis, and Arendelle
Square Enix Store (JP)
The Japanese Square Enix Store features three different bundles for Kingdom Hearts III. The first is the All-in-One bundle, which features physical copies of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue in addition to Kingdom Hearts III, as well as a special box for all three titles, the concept art book for Kingdom Hearts III, and a special theme for PlayStation 4, for 19,800 yen. The Bring Arts bundle features only a physical copy of Kingdom Hearts III and the Bring Arts Figures of Sora, Donald, and Goofy in their Toy Box forms for 25,488 yen. Finally, the Square Enix Store was selling entries into a lottery for a Kingdom Hearts III Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro for 52,028 yen. The bundle featured the PlayStation 4 with a Kingdom Hearts III-themed DualShock® controller, the special PlayStation-themed Keyblade, the physical copy of Kingdom Hearts III, a special PlayStation 4 theme, and a one month free trial of PlayStation Plus. The lottery opened on June 12 and ended June 24, so if you didn't get in, you're too late. The game is also sold alone for 9,504 yen. With the exception of the All-in-One bundle, each pre-order from the Square Enix Store also features the SteelBook case. All of the options are available only for the PlayStation 4 version of the game.
SevenNet is offering the exact same offers as the Square Enix e-Store in Japan, with the exception of the All-in-One Package. Additionally, instead of the SteelBook, SevenNet is offering a special Keyblade variant for Kingdom Hearts III and a Kingdom Hearts III Sora rubber strap with each of their pre-orders. The title alone is being sold for 8,360 yen, while the Bring Arts bundle is being sold for 23,600 yen. The Kingdom Hearts III Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro is being sold for 53,780 yen. Unlike the Square Enix e-Store, it's not being sold as a lottery from SevenNet, but rather as the console package itself.
Amazon in Japan is taking pre-orders of Kingdom Hearts III for 9,504 yen, and with the pre-order comes a special Amazon.jp-exclusive theme for the PlayStation 4. Amazon is also selling the Kingdom Hearts III Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro for 95,500 yen.
EB Games in Australia is also selling Kingdom Hearts III. The title alone, for either Xbox One or PlayStation 4, costs $99.95 AUD, and requires a $10.00 AUD deposit. You can also pre-order the Deluxe Edition for either console through them, which includes an EB Games-exclusive Kingdom Hearts III Light-Up Heartless keychain for $139.95 AUD, with a $30.00 deposit required.
There are so many options now for pre-ordering Kingdom Hearts III, the only disappointment is not having a bundle that includes all of it! Are you pre-ordering Kingdom Hearts III? Which bundle are you getting?
