Square Enix has released an update today for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX on the Epic Games Store. The update is reportedly about 8 GB in size and is available now for both the Japanese and North American versions of the game. The update brings the version of the game up to version 1.0.0.7. As of right now, the official update notes list improved stability fixes issues in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.[1]
The update comes amidst a rise in reports from fans in the community noting significant crashes, bugs, and other issues in the PC ports of the Kingdom Hearts series. Of all the titles, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD have the most game-crashing issues. While the fixes today are not likely a result of the ongoing #FixKHonPC movement, it's still a positive sign that Square Enix appears willing to patch the PC ports, which is more than they have said on the matter up to this point.
