Transcript[edit | edit source]
Jack Sparrow: "Care to surrender?"
Jones growls at Jack, then charges, swinging his sword wildly. He manages to pin Jack against the side of the ship.
Davy Jones: "The chest. Hand it over!"
Sora starts to run towards Jack.
Davy Jones: "Stay out of this, boy!"
The scene cuts to the Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman circling the maelstrom, getting closer together. It then cuts to Jack and Davy Jones fighting atop the mast, with Jack still holding the chest. The two ships continue to get closer and closer, eventually getting close enough that their masts collide and lock together. This jolts both ships, causing Jack to lose the chest, which lands on the deck of the Dutchman. Will Turner swings over from the Pearl and grabs the chest, but a Kracken tentacle knocks him out before he can get anywhere with it. Jones and Jack leap down to the deck, where they resume their swordfight. Jones manages to catch Jack's sword in his claw and breaks it before knocking Jack down. Jones turns his attention back to the chest, but Elizabeth Swann swings over from the Pearl and lands in front of it.
Davy Jones: "Harridan! You'll see no mercy from me."
Elizabeth Swann: "That's why I brought this!"
Elizabeth draws her sword.
Jones and Elizabeth fight as Will begins to stir, but Elizabeth is quickly knocked back. Jones rears back to finish her off, but screams as he is stabbed from behind by Will.
Davy Jones: "Mister. Did you forget? I'm a heartless wretch!"
Jones kicks Will, knocking him down again. Will and Elizabeth look at each other, and Jones looks between both of them.
Davy Jones: "Ah...love. A dreadful bond. And yet, so easily severed."
Sora: "That's not true!"
Jones stops to look at Sora, Donald and Goofy.
Sora: "I may still have a lot to learn about love, but I know what it means to share my heart with others. And it will take more than you to break a bond like that."
Davy Jones: "What does a whelp like you know about the heart?"
Jack Sparrow: "The whelp has seen far more of the world than you know."
Davy Jones: "Ha! What of it?"
Jones turns to Will, putting his sword at Will's throat.
Davy Jones: "Tell me, William Turner: do you fear death?"
Jack Sparrow: "Do you?"
Jones turns to see Jack with the open chest, holding his broken sword ready to stab Davy Jones' heart.
The camera zooms out to reveal Vexen watching from the crow's nest.
Vexen: "How disappointing. So this is all they meant when they said "heart." We've been chasing the wrong box this whole time."
Vexen disappears through a Corridor of Darkness.
Jack Sparrow: "Heady tonic, holding life and death in the palm of one's hand."
Davy Jones: "You're a cruel man, Jack Sparrow."
Jack Sparrow: "Cruel is a matter of perspective."
Davy Jones: "Is it?"
Jones turns and stabs Will through the heart.
Sora screams and charges at Jones, jumping on his back. Donald and Goofy join him moments later. Jack stares in disbelief, looking between Will and the heart. Sora lands a few punches on Davy Jones.
Elizabeth Swann: "Will? Will? Look at me. Look at me!"
Jones manages to throw off Sora, Donald and Goofy.
Davy Jones: "You will not forestall my judgment!"
Jones raises his sword, then suddenly cries out in pain. He turns to see that Will has stabbed his heart, aided by Jack. Davy Jones groans one last time before falling into the maelstrom.
Barbossa: "She's taking us down! Make quick, or it's the locker for us all!"
Elizabeth is crying and cradling Will while Jack, Sora, Donald and Goofy look on.
Sora: "Jack, can't we save him?"
Jack Sparrow: "Part of the ship, part of the crew. The Dutchman must have a captain. Elizabeth, say good-bye."
Jack pulls Elizabeth away from Will.
Elizabeth Swann: "No! I won't leave you!"
Jack pulls Elizabeth away as Sora, Donald and Goofy turn to get back to the Pearl.
The Pearl breaks free of the Dutchman, and sails out of the maelstrom while the Dutchman gets swallowed up.
The scene cuts to the deck of the Black Pearl.
Gibbs: "Thank goodness, Jack. The armada's still out there. The Endeavour's coming up hard to starboard, and I think it's time we embrace that oldest and noblest of pirate traditions."
Jack Sparrow: "Never actually been one for tradition. In we go!"
The scene cuts to the Endeavour, where Beckett is watching the Pearl.
Cutler Beckett: "It's nothing personal, Jack. It's just good business."
The camera zooms out to show the whole armada bearing down on the Pearl. Then, suddenly, the Flying Dutchman reemerges from the depths, with Will at the helm.
Will Turner: "Ready on the guns."
Jack Sparrow: "Full canvas!"
Barbossa: "Aye! Full canvas!"
The Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman sail up on either side of the Endeavour.
Jack Sparrow: "Fire!"
Will Turner: "Fire!"
Elizabeth Swann: "Fire aaall!!"
Both ships fire, tearing the Endeavour to shreds. Beckett stands on the deck, looking shocked.
Cutler Beckett: "It's just...good business."
The Pearl and Dutchman sail on as the Endeavour explodes and the armada turns to flee.
The pirates celebrate, throwing their hats in the air. Sora notices Elizabeth looking sadly out to see.
Gibbs: "(to Sora) The Flying Dutchman must have a captain. Just wed, and now she and Cap'n Turner must live in different worlds. One day ashore, ten years at sea. It's a steep price."
Gibbs: "(to Elizabeth) Your chariot awaits, Your Highness."
Gibbs motions to a rowboat being lowered to the water. Elizabeth starts walking towards it, and the crew has gathered to see her off.
Barbossa: "Mrs. Turner."
Donald Duck: "Elizabeth..."
Goofy: "Take care."
Elizabeth Swann: "Jack... Thank you."
Elizabeth gets into the rowboat. Sora walks over to Jack.
Sora: "One day isn't enough time."
Jack Sparrow: "Oh, there's always enough time for hearts to say what's true. Sora, you know better than anyone. It only takes a moment to connect with your mates... With your hearties."
Sora: "There's always enough time. And I'm going to find them."
Behind the Pearl, Sora's ship begins to glow before exploding into crabs, which then return to the sea. The Black Pearl and the Flying Dutchman sail off, and the end title card of the world is displayed.
