- Virtual reality will be coming to Kingdom Hearts this year.
- Experience will feature two songs from this year's Orchestra concerts.
Sony kicked off Tokyo Game Show early with its PlayStation Live Tour presentation, and Square Enix has taken advantage to tease us about the upcoming gaming event. Along with the brief "short version" trailer from the event, Square Enix and Disney announced an upcoming virtual reality experience for the Kingdom Hearts series.
The small announcement clip only showed some scenes from past games, and what appear to be a few new ones from, presumably, Kingdom Hearts III. It did highlight the logos for Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, and Kingdom Hearts III.
Shortly after the announcement, a third clip announced that two songs from this year's Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- performances would be included in the experience, coming this winter.
This will be the first time the world of Kingdom Hearts will be moving into the realm of virtual reality, and a dream come true for many wanting to feel like Keyblade wielders themselves. We can't wait to see what will be coming next to the series. Stay tuned, as the news will only keep adding up through Tokyo Game Show, set to actually start next week!
